My research journey is quite lucky so far! I am gratefully appreciated to have the opportunities to work with some prestigious researchers in different fields around the world. I would be glad if you contact me for manuscript reviewing or collaboration opportunities. My main research activities and contributions to the scientific communities so far include:
I am on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Postdoctoral Research and the newly launched Archives of Architecture and Civil Engineering.
I am Guest Editor for Advances in Mechanical Engineering, developing special issue on ‘Non-destructive Testing and Evaluation of Composite Materials/Structures‘, and currently, it is calling for papers.
Member of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (MAIAA).
I am Recognised Reviewer for Materials Characterization and Materials Letters, an Outstanding Reviewer for Archives of Civil and Mechanical Engineering (ELSEVIER), and active in reviewing manuscripts for international journals as listed below, about 12 per year:
Composites Part B-Engineering; Archives of Civil and Mechanical Engineering; Materials Characterization; Journal of Applied Polymer Science; Journal of Composite Materials; Mechanics of Time-Dependent Materials; Advanced Composites Letters; Materials; Sensors.

Professional training on Design of Aircraft Structures
This comprehensive 2-day course covers: an introduction to design philosophy and criteria; airframe configuration; margin of safety concept; validation and testing; materials, material selection, design allowables and values; failure theories and interaction methods; fundamental concepts including load paths; free body diagrams; idealization and classical, empirical and finite element analysis methods. This course also includes design of structures under tensile, compressive, shear, and combined loads, and design of joints, fittings, and lugs. An introduction to design for fail safety, durability and damage tolerance is also presented. Design and analysis competencies are also discussed. The course includes practice problems and a design project.
