Welcome to my personal website. Here you can find my research interests, publications, attended conferences and my contributions in teaching and journal reviewing. I am interested in and keen on any types of potential collaborations in the field of Materials Science and Engineering, with a major focus on Composites Science and Engineering. You can find my contact details on this web. I am lucky enough in my earlier research career, working on varies research areas with world prestigious scientists.
I am currently a Distinguished Professor in Mechanical Engineering, Fuzhou University, China, leading the Advanced Composite Structures Laboratory. I am also a Life Member of Clare Hall, University of Cambridge. I was Research Associate at the Department of Engineering, University of Cambridge, working on Bistable Composite Technologies for nearly three years. My PhD was at the School of Engineering, University of Hull (UoH), from Sep 2013 to Sep 2016, focused on viscoelastically prestressed polymeric matrix composites (VPPMCs). After my PhD, I served as Research Associate/Fellow at the UoH for 8 months, and moved to Cambridge in July 2017.
I am active in reviewing manuscripts for international journals and have been awarded as an Outstanding Reviewer by ELSEVIER. I am also a Member of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (MAIAA), Guest Editor for Advances in Mechanical Engineering, Editorial Board Member for Sustainable Marine Structures. I am enthusiastic and enjoy both in delivering knowledge and overcoming challenges from cutting-edge research.
