Welcome to my personal website. Here you can find my research interests, publications, attended conferences and my contributions in teaching and journal reviewing. I am interested and keen in any types of potential collaborations in the field of Materials Science and Engineering, with a major focus of Composites Science and Engineering. You can find my contact details on this web. I am lucky enough in my earlier research career, working on varies research areas with world prestigious scientists.
I am currently a Research Associate at the Department of Engineering, University of Cambridge, working on Bistable Composite Technologies. I am also a Postdoc of Clare Hall Cambridge. My PhD was at the School of Engineering, University of Hull (UoH), from Sep 2013 to Sep 2016, focused on viscoelastically prestressed polymeric matrix composites (VPPMCs). After my PhD, I served as Research Associate/Fellow at the UoH for 8 months, and moved to Cambridge in July 2017.
Before coming to the UK, I was born and raised in Shanxi, China. I started to work on polymeric matrix composites since I was an undergraduate student back to 2006. I did my BSc (in Composites Science and Engineering), BBA (in Business Administration) and MSc (in Materials Science) at the North University of China. As time goes on, doing research in the field of Materials Science and Engineering become my primary interest and profession in my life. I am active in reviewing manuscripts for international journals and have been awarded as an Outstanding Reviewer by ELSEVIER. I am also a Member of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (MAIAA). I am enthusiastic and enjoy both in delivering knowledge and overcoming challenges from cutting-edge research.
